Delicious and filling quickly. Food ready within 10 minutes. Portions are pretty big. (The food was eaten so quickly that only pictures of the rest were possible;))

Were passing through Weimar and weren't in the mood for pizza / kebab, so this fresh place found itself. Great value for money, as it tastes just super tasty and also very filling. Gladly again.

Hello curry friends, Today I would like to introduce the locality and product of "Fritz Mitte" from the Weimar Center. Very hip "street food" shop, which fits seamlessly into the young, somewhat left-wing city (lots of punks, hippies, green-haired couples, Refjuschies, artists plus the corresponding smear letters everywhere). In the long queue there were barefoot free spirits, vegan fries orderers and cool, black-clad students. The business itself is defined by funny word games, flea market lamps, Fritz-Cola and no less than twelve types of mayos. All regional and homemade, of course. The staff is young, in a good mood, brisk sayings on their lips, in this funny accent. The grate under the output represents its "tip compartment". The prices are as follows: - CW without everything: € 2.50 - CW with "Schrippe": € 3.20 - CW with fries + majo: € 4.50. Small beer € 2.70. I opted for the special price offer for € 6. CW, french fries, normal majo and small beer (Astra). I found the price to be fair, if not cheap. You can choose from red or beef sausage (me). So, * to the point: * A lot of French fries and delicious, you can hardly say more. Crunchy, perfect tan. All that's missing is some salt. Majo very tasty, unusually creamy but clearly too much (picture). The female had rosemary majo, I thought it was really cool. The curry sauce was also outstanding! Heavy, dark, spicy, perfect sweetness, but far too little of that. Thick, short sausage, clear, rustic note of beef, spicy and tasty. Tough skin in a pleasant way, cracks and chews great. The heat was as required and was achieved with chilli flakes (similar to kebab) The Pieckser look stylish and pretty, but prove to be impractical. The two closely spaced prongs behave like a thick one, so French fries tend to break or slide off. The foam packaging of the to-go variant keeps you reliably warm and sufficiently tight.

French fries and currywurst okay. If you just asked the staff, you only got answers that took some getting used to - if you reassured the service from a second person even sloppy answers and then the interference of a third person with an unbelievably unfriendly manner. We and I were always happy to be at FritzMitte, but with the staff certainly not again. Pity!

I ordered the small portion of fries with parmesan-rosemary sauce. The sauce was really good & enough amount was there, but i felt that the fries were a bit old. They weren't crunchy as they should be.

The best fries in Germany

I am a student at Bauhaus. The waiter is a Vietnamese with short hair. Mega is rude to her. She speaks funny German. The terrible thing is that they drop the food onto my tables. Good food, environment but the worst service. I do not recommend that children, families and the customers who do not want the rude service come.

Peta, Bolognese sauce is kind of salty and too much paprika powder, but decent fries and friendly staff.

Great fires

You’ll usually find a queue in front of this place, waiting for their “Fritten” (=informal for “fries”) to go. And for a reason! The fries are danish style and such crispy goodness, coming with a dip of your choice (including the heavenly beetroot horseradish mayonnaise I’ve had). Try the house lemonade, too! There are more options for meat lovers, but vegetarians and vegans will have no difficulties being fed either. If you’re not on the run, you can come in and sit down, there’s more space inside than you’d expect on first glance. The staff is super busy between the queue outside and orders inside, but very efficient.?

Fritz Mitte always has great food at very fair pricing! The vibe here is so cool, and the staff does a great job of expediting orders.

Beware! This place rips you off: if you order your fries "to go", they charge you an additional 20 eurocents for the container (which is supposedly bio degradable but ends up in the next street bin anyway). The guys served before us in the queue got their fries in the regular container at no additional charge—I assume they already knew. When we complained about the hidden cost they told us "But you ordered to go, didn't you?" and refused to move the fries to the regular container. Not cool, man!

Always tasty again ? we have been going to Fritz Mitte regularly for a few years, when we are in town. Although unfortunately our beloved Wasabi Mayo no longer exists, there are many other delicious alternatives. The sausage and curry sauce (spicy) are also good. And the service is always relaxed and friendly.

I have been living in Weimar for three years and always felt like home because of the nice people. I vote this place very bad because of the stuffs' behaviors which made me think that I am a stranger here.

Cheap and tasty

True story: I lived in an apartment above this place when they started their business. The place smelled pretty strong, and when the windows were open and the wind was blowing the right way, my apartment smelled like fries. Not cool. So the neighbors and I decided not to eat there as a kind of protest. No fries because the place is stinking up our homes. But I cheated (I love fries), and about the tenth time I ordered fries from Fritz Mitte, my neighbor saw me there waiting in line. I thought she'd be angry, so I pretended like I was doing something else, but she knew what I was doing. And she told me she'd been cheating and going there too. TLDR: BEST FRIES IN GERMANY

These are the best Pommes in Weimar! The mayo flavors are to die for! My only complaint would be that the spicy Currywurst wasn't really that spicy, but that didn't stop me from getting one almost every single day!
